4 Steps To Discovering Your Personal Brand Statement

What is your personal brand?  It’s your message statement.  Your elevator pitch.  The 10 or less words that describe who you are and what you bring to a company.  Career specialist Kimberly Schneiderman from NYC’s  City Career Services gives this advice for choosing your personal brand statement:

1) What’s your functional work title?

2) Write down 10 things you’re especially good at in your field.  

3) What are your unique contributions in each position you’ve held?

4) What level position are you looking to achieve?
